Video Ads On Facebook: Face To Camera Videos

– Hi guys, this is Ben Heath from Lead Guru.
In this video, I want to talk to you about video ads on Facebook, and this is a little bit of a meta video, because you’re probably watching this video right now on Facebook, and it probably is a video ad, I’m probably promoting this to you, and I’m obviously talking about video ads on Facebook in this video.
So it’s a little strange, but stick with it.
Basically, I really want to encourage you guys to give them a go and to include them in your Facebook advertising campaigns, because we’re using them a lot, as you probably see, and they’re generating fantastic results for us.
And there’s a very specific style of video ad on Facebook I would recommend you try, and that’s face-to-camera video ads.
So I’m gonna pop that up here. I would really recommend you try face-to-camera video ads. And a face-to-camera video ad, by the way, is what you’re watching right now.
So it’s where the owner of the business, the face of the business, whoever it is, gets in front of the camera, looks to provide real value to the target market, you know, demonstrate something, educate them, maybe even entertain them, depending on what your business is.
Because it really humanises your business.

You know, you’ve seen me.

You know, especially if you’re a service-based business, guys.
I think this applies very, very much so, even moreso, if you’re a service-based business, particularly if you’re a small company and you’re owner-led.
Get yourself in front of the camera.
I know it can be a little bit scary.
I know you may have objections, but it’s worth it, and then, you know, people will be far more likely to inquire.
They know they’re going to be dealing with a real person.
You can start that conversation.
Now, another thing I would recommend about these face-to-camera video ads is yes, they can be a little bit scary at the beginning, but do a whole load.
Don’t just do one and then try it and if it doesn’t work, say, oh, this strategy doesn’t work.
You need to do quite a lot.
So I’m going to put that up there as well.
So, create many videos.
And there’s a couple of reasons for this.
Number one, these face-to-camera video ads are a skill.
If you go back and watch some of the very early ones I did, they’re definitely, I’m not as comfortable as I am now, and in fact, there’s a lot of outtakes and things you guys haven’t seen where the videos really were terrible.
So it is a bit of a skill.
It does take a bit of practise.
And you don’t know which videos are gonna really resonate with your target market.
You know, I’m recording this video now about video ads on Facebook. We might put this out there and you know what?
Our target market isn’t bothered about video ads on Facebook.
They want to know about targeting and things like that.
So, create multiple videos, because you don’t know which one’s gonna win, and you’re gonna give yourself a much better chance of having a winner if you go ahead and create a lot.
But really would encourage you.
I’ve talked to a lot of people that are afraid of this.
I really encourage you to do it.
You know, you don’t have to blast this out to the entire world, just your specific target market, and it can make a huge, huge difference to how many sales and how many leads you generate from Facebook.
